Directions
From the first note to your own account.
Five stages, most of them short. You can stop at any of them without owing anything.
-
The note
You hear from Caitlin by email, or you write to us first. Either way the opening message names one address and the reason it suits your company. Nothing is attached and nothing is asked except whether you would like to hear more.
-
The figure
If you say yes, you get the price in one number, in writing, the same day as a rule. It is the whole cost of the name to you. Questions about it, or a counter, are welcome.
-
The agreement
Once the figure suits both sides, a transaction is opened with a licensed escrow service under that price. Both parties accept its terms on the escrow site; there is no separate contract to draft.
-
Funds held
You pay the escrow service, not us. It confirms the funds and only then asks us to move the address. Wire and card options are set by the escrow service.
-
The address is yours
We move the domain into your registrar account directly, or send an authorisation code if you prefer a transfer. You confirm receipt to the escrow service, which then releases payment. Most purchases reach this point within one to two weeks of the first yes.
If plans change
Up to the moment funds reach escrow, either side can walk away with no cost and no hard feelings. After that, the escrow service's own rules on cancellation and refunds apply, and they protect the buyer first.
Start at mile zero
Send us the domain you are thinking of; we confirm whether it is ours to sell.
